Indigo DQM Data Management System Indigo DQM
Data Outputs Indigo DQM Help

Indigo DQM's Data Management Engine (DME) can output and automatically save multiple Data Outputs for Data Commands and Execution Plans in various formats including HTML, PDF, RSS, XML, JSon, XLSX and CSV with also the option for Data Migration to other Data Sources.

Data Outputs can be saved locally, to a network location or uploaded to the Internet / Intranet allowing the automatic distribution of Data and Reports.

To add or edit Data Outputs select the Data Outputs tab on the Data Management Studio.

Enter the details of the Data Output along with a description and a reference. Select a Data Folder to store and organise the Data Output in the system.

Select the Data Outputs and the location of where the Result Data should be automatically saved after execution.

Setting the Output URI for the Result Data

Data can be transferred to the Internet / Cloud by configuring the location of the Data Output URI's.

Enter the Host, Port, Path for the Data Output and the security credentials if required.

Advanced Data Output Properties

Advanced options allow the configuration of extra settings for the Data Output.

Data Security and Encryption

Data Outputs can be encrypted and stored securely using military grade cryptography. The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) uses a 256-bit encryption key.

Encryption passwords are used to create strong encryption keys for the AES 256 Advanced Encryption Standard.

A secure password must be setup in 'Program Settings and Options' or applied to an individual Data Asset Store. By default a global encryption password will be used but it is recommenced that you create your own unique password.

Encryption passwords must match when encrypting / decrypting Data. It is recommended that a copy of your password be stored in a secure location. If you lose the password it will be impossible to decrypt any encrypted Data.

If the Result Output Data is to be encrypted with AES 256 then set the encrypted property to True.

Data Folders

Indigo DQM Data Folders are containers for Data Command Queries, Data Sources, Data Reports, Data Executions Plans and Data Outputs in the Data Asset Store.

Create a Data Folder for the Data Command Query to organise it in the Data Asset Store. Data Folders create a hierarchical and organized view of objects within the system.

Hidden Folders

Data Folders can be hidden from the Reporting View and made only visible to Administration in the Data Management Studio.

To hide the Data Folder check the option and it will not be visible in the Reporting View.
